I’m Jeannette — a broadcast journalist turned content creator, speaker, and podcast host, and a proud mom.
I got my start in Little Rock, AR, back in 2012 after graduating from Kent State University with a BA in Broadcast Journalism.
From there, I moved to DC, then reported and anchored in Philly, and eventually came back to DC before pivoting away from news in 2023.
The journey has been full of ups and downs, but every step taught me something new. And it helped me discover my definition of success: achieving personal fulfillment and happiness by realizing your goals, staying true to your values, and making a positive impact on the lives of others.
But don’t get it twisted:
It’s not all work and no play! When I’m not jumping into a new project or playing “hair salon” with my young daughter, you can find me salsa and bachata dancing, hitting up a Pilates class, or chilling at a local coffee shop. And what gets me out of bed in the morning?
The desire to do better, be better, and keep my word (especially to Pilates class).
I was born & raised in Rhode Island to Dominican parents, which has absolutely shaped my world view.
I’m deeply committed to giving back to the community and using my platform to support those in need. I believe it’s our duty to uplift and empower others, particularly as we achieve success ourselves.
A rising tide lifts all boats.
